"SAVE THE SLATE" SUCCESS!
Great news: We're excited to say we reached our primary goal of raising $30,000 to repair our office/garage roof...with construction to start this summer!
We offer our heartfelt thanks to ALL who contributed -- with special thanks to our campaign's major contributors: The Cortland Community Foundation ($5,000), the Wilkins Foundation ($3,000), and two individual donors who shall remain anonymous for the time being!
We still have a bit of fundraising to do in order to tackle the spot repairs on the Superintendent's House -- so, contributions to that portion of the project are still needed and welcome. But, to be sure, the heaviest 'lift' is done. We've selected our slate-specialist roofer. And, all of our "Save the Slate" supporters can look forward to seeing new copper on our office/garage just a few short months from now.
Once again... THANK YOU!!!
A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED IN OUR "CEMETERY SWEEP OUT DAY" ON SATURDAY, APRIL 26, 2014!
We have over 50 people join us -- including groups from our generous sponsor the Crown City Rollerz and the JM Murray Center! -- in our effort to prep for the observance of Memorial Day (May 26) and the 2014 mowing season. Work we tackled included paint-scraping, raking, excavation for our water-stations, landscaping, tree planting, and trash pick up. In other words, it was awesome and highly productive!

Needless to say, we would like to thank everyone who helped out... To that end, please see our official 'thank you' message. If you like visuals, also check out our photo album from the day!
We're happy to have been featured in the October 18 edition of the Cortland Standard. Take a look!
